About the Artist

Marilyn Vanderpan

Marilyn is a decorative painter and quilter. She is a member of the National Society of Tole and Decorative Painters. Marilyn designs her pieces to reflect her sense of humor and enjoyment of many subjects in nature. Among her most popular items are her limited edition gourd Santas. Marilyn also designs holiday ornaments and other unique one of a kind gift items. Marilyn has sold her many creations throughout Wisconsin and surrounding areas. She resides in rural Wisconsin with her husband, Bob, and daughter, Erin.

In addition to her own handiwork, Marilyn's booth at craft shows often features hand woven baskets made by her identical twin sister, Marsha Hill. Marsha runs a craft business out of Indiana called Blueberry Hill.
